Fetsund Lenser is an historical museum of timber rafting in Akershus right outside of Oslo. In this assigment we had to make som kind of storage for an optional aesthetic object with an opening and closing mechanism. In my case i choose the incandesent light bulb.
I wantet to use the norwegian culture as a important part of my light bulb storage, and also use gears for opening and closing. The wood is to assosiate with the raftmen and their job.The knitting behind is to honor the norwegian culture. The knitting pattern is a famous pattern that is from Sælbu in the north of Norway.
